About The Business Hut

The Business Hut began its journey in 2014, starting as most businesses do – a solution to a problem. We noticed that not all small businesses had the requirement to operate an accounts department. Bookkeeping and other business administrative tasks were often assigned to employees that were covering other roles within the business, which had the potential to lead to errors, inefficiencies and a longer year end process for the accountants. What we wanted to do was bridge that gap, providing outsourced bookkeeping and administrative support to our clients to ensure the financial side of their business is always accurate, relevant and tidy for their accountant when it’s time to complete year end.

Outsourcing is a perfect solution. Your time is far better spent in your area of skill – and growing your business. Think of us as your very own accounts department with all the relevant expertise and experience but without the burden of employment and training costs.

Primarily, The Business Hut provide on-site and remote bookkeeping services to sole traders, partnerships and incorporated businesses from Market Harborough, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire. However, with the use of cloud technology such as Xero and Dropbox, we are also supporting clients Nationwide including London.

As fully licensed and qualified bookkeepers based in Market Harborough, we offer a professional, friendly and personal service; tailoring our support packages to suit our clients. The Business Hut is licensed by AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) and affiliated with ICB (Institute of Certified Bookkeepers). Both Charlotte & Victoria are Sage and Xero Certified.

Meet the team

Victoria Morley


Victoria is a fully licenced Member in Practice with the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) as well as a Business Graduate.

Through her experience of working in finance management roles, Victoria understands that business is not just about recording transactions as and when they happen. Analysis of financial performance, cost management, setting budgets and forecasting for the future are all functions that can maximise profitability for your business. Victoria & Xero can provide these key financial functions.

Charlotte Morley


Charlotte is passionate about using cloud technology to develop systems & processes that allow for business growth and efficiency. Offering a flexible and cost effective alternative to employing.

She qualified with a Distinction from ICB in Level II Bookkeeping and is currently broadening her knowledge with ICB Level III. Though also qualified in using Sage, Charlotte loves Xero and what it offers our clients. Not to mention the vital part it plays in the day to day running of The Business Hut activity. She also enjoys delivering Xero training. She loves to crunch those numbers!

Leanne Wilkinson

Account Manager

Leanne is a qualified Teacher with experience in school leadership, and a background in Marketing and Events Management. After a short career break, Leanne has returned to her business roots and is currently completing ICB Level II Bookkeeping. She is excited to be using Xero software, which appeals to her love of all things efficient. Leanne brings with her all of the organisational, time management and communication skills you would expect of a teacher – and she has the patience of a saint! When she’s not crunching numbers, Leanne loves nothing more than spending quality time with her Kindle and a good cup of coffee.
